Family vacations are not only a fun time together but a memorable time to be with each other. About two summers ago we did a family vacation with my parents, my siblings and their children to Mexico and there was eleven of us in together for a week in Mexico. This was the first time we all had a chance to be together on a beach for a week with no one but those who are the most important to you and your loved ones. This brough back memories of being on the beach with the family when we were kids.
It was a great time we all had fun especially my two nephews who at that time were 6 and 4 years old. They had a blast and since we were in an all-inclusive resort, they had lots of fun walking to the restaurant and ordering pizza, hot dogs, pop and you name it. It was so much fun to see them enjoy each and every minute in the sun and on the water.
The secret to a great time together is to just be relaxed and go with the flow. You see in a big crowd, not all will agree with what you want to eat or what you want to do but the idea is to try each and everything suggested and see for yourself, you will be amazed at the things you thought will not be fun was the thing you enjoyed the most.
Another thing to remember is that you are using the time together to live old memories and create new living memories for the future generation. Family vacations are important as they play a crucial role in passing traditions of who your family is and what the family values are. Kids learn about a strong family unit and these things are forever imbedded in their minds.
We are now planning another family vacation next year and we all are already looking forward to it. Hope you all are having a great summer together with your family and enjoying every minute with your loved ones
